What we do

Electrical work for sauna installations

  • Heater supply circuits

Installation of a dedicated supply circuit to suit the heater or control unit and the installation conditions.

  • Control and sensor wiring

Wiring between the heater, controller and sensors as set out in the installation instructions.

  • Controls and isolation

Installation of isolation and control equipment to suit the manufacturer's instructions and applicable electrical requirements.

  • Supply and switchboard capacity

Checking supply capacity, available switchboard space and protection before the circuit is added, and advising on mains or switchboard upgrades where required. Not every sauna installation needs one.

  • Outdoor and barrel saunas

Supply and cable routes suited to saunas installed outdoors.

  • Testing and certification

Circuit tested at completion with a Certificate of Testing and Compliance supplied.

Getting the circuit right the first time

Electrical requirements vary between sauna heaters. We check the supply requirements, cable sizing, circuit protection, controls and installation conditions before carrying out the work.

It's usually easier and less costly to run the circuit before the cabin is lined or the deck is finished, so it's worth talking to us before you buy or install your sauna. Send through the heater and controller model with your enquiry. The written scope sets out what we supply and connect, based on the equipment you've selected.

  • Heater model and rated load confirmed before quoting
  • Circuit and protection sized to the manufacturer's requirements
  • Cable types and routes selected to suit the temperatures, moisture exposure and installation requirements
